TRC103 is a highly integrated single chip, multi-channel, low power RF
transceiver. It is an ideal fit for low cost, high volume, two way short-range
wireless applications for use in the unlicensed 863-870 MHz (ETSI),
902-928 MHz (FCC), and 950-960 MHz (Japan) frequency bands. The TRC103 is FCC & ETSI
certifiable. All critical RF and baseband functions are completely
integrated in the chip, thus minimizing external component count and
simplifying and speeding design-ins. Use of a low cost, generic 12.8 MHz
crystal and a low-cost microcontroller is all that is needed to create a
complete link. The TRC103 also incorporates different sleep modes to
reduce overall current consumption and extend battery life. Its small size
with low power consumption makes it ideal for various short range radio
applications.
The TRC103 Development kits allow for complete evaluation and application development of RFMs SRR (Short Range Radio) line of RFICs. A communication link or Range Test can be executed with the Data Terminal to evaluate system performance.
The DR-TRC103 series evaluation kits include the radio boards, antennas and battery
packs used in the DR-TRC103 series development kits. The evaluation kits can be used
for initial evaluation of TRC103 radio technology and to prototype applications that will
use the TRC103 RFIC.
