RFM's standard ASH Transceiver Development Kits demonstrate operation at an "air" data rate of 22.5 kbps, using a packet data link layer (MAC) protocol implemented in an 8051 microprocessor core. Typical outdoor range for the standard development kits is 60 to 75 meters. These kits are recommended for exploring medium range, medium data rate applications.
